Print Your Own Money

Did you know there is a legal way for you to print you own money? I am not talking about counterfeiting. For those of you outside Canada, you may not know of a store called Canadian Tire. They give you a rebate on all your purchases with their own form of money. Since it is only good on items in the store, they can get away with it. When I do trades and barter with people, I am willing to take Candian Tire money at 1/2 par. I buy alot of items there, tools and sporting goods and such, so it is worth my time to collect and use the bonus money.

I printed up my own form of money. It is called a gift certificate. I sign and date the document and state the dollar amount of it's worth for a massage or a Tarot Card Reading. People exchange Canadian or U.S. funds with me for my gift certificates. It falls under my theory of what money is. Other may not agree and says it is not "Currency" since it is not freely exchanged back again for money. I say tough! It is a promise of delivering a service at a later date and is exchanged for money.
The one spot it breaks down as "real" money is you can not pay the government taxes with it.

If the government accepted a couple chickens and a bale of hemp to pay my taxes, then that would be considered "real" money.
